Position: Java Oracle Sql Developer, Chicago Il 60606
Summary: Client: Trading. The successful candidate will work with end-users in creating applications for their investigative and data analysis needs. The position includes design and development in Oracle PL/SQL scripts on the back-end along with web technologies on the front-end using a proprietary Java-based distributed middleware server component framework. This opportunity requires an individual that has strong skills in problem solving, data analysis, software design, and end-user interaction.
Qualifications:
Minimum five years’ experience in Java, Oracle, Sql application development
Technical expertise in development of web-based and distributed applications in an EJB or Foundation Framework environment
Strong analytical and design abilities, and in Object Oriented Analysis and Design
Strong knowledge and experience of Oracle DBMS and related products (PL/SQL, SQL*PLUS)
Knowledge and experience in core Java development and related areas such as J2EE, JSPs, STRUTS, JDBC.
Experience developing applications in a Linux/UNIX operating environment,
Experience in trading or financial services software development
Experience in the complete Lifecycle of projects (requirements through installation within a production environment)
Knowledge of regulatory surveillance
Participating in Regulatory Development’s 24/7 on-call support rotation
