POSITION:  Manufacturing Operations Manager – Pittsburgh, PA.  

Summary: Client is a global/national Retail / Manufacturing company. We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for the Pittsburgh,PA. (100+ employees) facility. This key member will oversee all administrative, human resources, accounting, inventory control, IT, and customer service functions. Manage and administer the entire operational business related matters: plant benefits, compensation and payroll related processes, workforce planning and retention, equal employment practices, prepare performance reviews, carry out disciplinary action, oversee the compliance, policies, and internal audit control procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. 7+ years within the Manufacturing industry.  Progressive office management experience with proven capabilities within Logistics, Cost Accounting, Human Resources, IT, Warehousing, Facilities, and Manufacturing Operational Analysis. Understands manufacturing activities and operational efficiencies to ensure alignment of financial and manufacturing requirements. Must have 5+ years of Management / Supervisory experience.

Excellent project management skills, outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills, and report writing skills. Strong knowledge of ERP & MRP systems (end-user) skills, and MS Office Suite. Extensive experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision to implementation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.  Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure. 

LOCATION: Pittsburgh, PA           JOB TYPE: FT, Permanent
