POSITION: Software Engineer – Java Websphere Commerce – Springfield, Missouri
SUMMARY: Our client is one of the premier outdoor retailers e-commerce across America and Canada. As a key member, the Software Engineer will work on working on an implementation of WebSphere Commerce and a stand-alone JAVA code on the WebSphere or Tomcat platforms. Full life cycle development, project specifications conversion’s, creating statements of problems and procedures into business solutions using JAVA. Heavy user interface, task leader, conduct user design/project groups, and mentor junior-level developers.
Technical environment: JAVA, Object Oriented Programming, HTML, JavaScript and SQL.3. Knowledge of technologies such as XML/XSL/XSD, Web Services, SOAP, InfoPath Development, MYSQL, and DB2.
QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years of full life cycle programming, and Java programming experience. Must have experience with IBM Websphere Commerce environment.Must have solid working experience in Java, Object Oriented Programming, HTML, JavaScript and SQL.3. Knowledge of XML/XSL/XSD, Web Services, SOAP, InfoPath Development, MYSQL, and DB2 is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, and must be detail oriented with outstanding presentation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong desire to succeed and ability to work under pressure.
